Hazel Folse Ford passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 7, 2024 at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Gerald "Ford" Ford, daughter, Peggy Sue Ford Delaney, parents, Allen Rene and Hazel Bird Folse and siblings, Alice Phillips, Dorothy Fountain and Nora Beckham.
Hazel was the loving mother of Gerald "Jerry" Ford and Edna Helmstetter and wonderful mother-in-law of Shannon Ford, Joseph Helmstetter and Kelvin Delaney. Devoted grandmother of Bridget Bruno, Melissa Ford, Joseph Helmstetter, Jr., Jodi Carcamo, Jason Helmstetter, Jailyn Owings and Travis, Christopher and Jessica Delaney. Hazel had many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren that she adored. She is the cherished sister of Allen George Folse and Grace Florence Mack. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Hazel's greatest joy in life was her family, especially all of "the kids". She enjoyed cooking and having a house full of family. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
A private burial will be held for immediate family and close friends at a later date.
