Frank Louis Muscarello, Sr.

Frank Louis Muscarello, Sr. passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born on December 16, 1941 in Marrero, Louisiana to the late Anthony and Lena Muscarello. Devoted husband of Gayle Muscarello. Loving father of Todd Muscarello (Christal) and the late Frank Muscarello, Jr. Proud grandfather of Maci Muscarello-Rossi (Brian), Jack Muscarello (Katie) and Olivia Collins and great-grandfather of Bowen, Blaize, Blair and Charles. Brother of Mary Landry and the late Joseph Muscarello. Frank is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Frank began his career at Bell South where he became a manager before he retired. Then he worked for the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors as an investigator until his retirement. Frank was also a trustee for the Jefferson Parish Finance Authority. He was lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, was past president of the Marrero Lions Club and Frank and Gayle were charter members of the Happy Few Social Club.

Frank never met a stranger. He was faithful to the Catholic church. He enjoyed going to the gym with his close friends but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Frank was loved by everyone he met and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, December 15, 2024 beginning at 4:00 PM until 8:30PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. A short visitation will also be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th St. in Marrero. Burial will immediately follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna.
