Dawn Renee' Elliott Babineaux

Dawn Renee’ Elliott Babineaux passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 14th, 2021 at the age of 57. Dawn was a resident of Bayou Gauche’ and was raised in Hahnville, Louisiana. She is survived by her loving husband, Gail Babineaux, Sr., of 40 years and her mother-in-law Marietta “Mouse” Babineaux. Devoted mother of Becky (Torey), Gail, Jr. (Danielle), Krystal (Chad), Kelly, and Kattie (Joey). Maw Maw of Jolie, Halie, Bryce, Melaina, Josslyn, Carolyn, Alex, Joshua, Aiden, Austin, Luke, Adrik, Landen, Claire, Brooklyn, and Jordyn. Sister of Bettye Jean (Carl). Dawn is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Dawn is preceded in death by her parents Billy Joe and Kista “Kitty” Elliott, her father-in-law Frederick P. Babineaux, Sr., and her son-in-law Randy Robertson.

Dawn enjoyed spending her free time on the bayou, whether it were fishing, camping, or just taking a boat ride. RV Camping with her family was also some of the most memorable times she spent with her loving family. She was known for her cooking, no one ever left the house hungry. Dawn’s passion was her family, especially her grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana.
