Audrey Jean Stann

Audrey is survived by her children Anapha Stann-York (William Sr.), Lester Stann, Jr., Madge Stann-Lueck (the late Stefan), Leslie Stann (Tenaj), Dawn Stann-Duah (Samuel), and Giselle Carmardelle (Don).

She is preceded in death by her husband Lester Stann Sr., her parents Felician Sylve and Alma Casbon-Sylve, her daughters Ericka and Rose, her granddaughter Julie Anna, and her siblings Broussard "Blue" Sylve, Sr., George Sylve, Sr., and Mildred Sylve Phillips.

She is also survived by her sisters Cecilia "Alma" Alexis, Monica Sylve, and Camila Gumber, in addition to 27 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, including a host of nieces and nephews.

Audrey was a resident of Harvey, Louisiana for 48 years. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a knack for cooking that always brought everyone together.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Christian celebration of Audrey's life on Friday, December 27th, 2024 at Hosanna Church, 2215 Barataria Boulevard in Marrero, Louisiana 70072 from 9:30 until the time of service at 11:30AM. Interment will take place at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue in Terrytown, Louisiana. Followed by a repast at Hosanna Church.
