Steve A. Brown

Steve Allen Brown, age 78, of Markle, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at River Terrace in Bluffton. Steve graduate from Rock Creek High School and served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a construction foreman for most of his life. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Steve was born on may 15, 1945 in Huntington. The son of the late Robert A. and Amelia (Warpup) Brown. He was united in marriage to Pat Ruple on September 4, 1970 in Markle. His wife survives. Additional Survivors include a son: Scott Brown of Markle; a step daughter: Tammy (Karl) Budrow of Fort Wayne; a brother: Matt (Linda) Brown of Fort Wayne; and 17 grand children. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, a step daughter: Teresa Waters, a brother Dan Brown, and two grandsons. There will be no public services at this time.
