Anna Cline Cole

She was born August 22, 1929 in Swain County, NC to the late Flornel Cline, Sr. and Laura Watkins Cline.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Clayton & Oliver Cline and one sister, Ruth Shook.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Cole of the home; two sons, Dennis Ray Cole and wife, Teresa and Randy Cole all of Marion; three brothers, Gove Cline and wife, Dorothy of Madison, WS, Vance Cline and wife, Doris of Morganton, NC and Flornel Cline, Jr. of Marion, NC; two sisters, Minnie Jean Housley of Afton, TN and Rachel Arnett and husband, Doyle of Morganton, NC; three grandchildren, Lisa Cole Atkinson, John Paul Cole and Kim Cole Freeman all of Marion, NC; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Doug Prevette officiating. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion will be assisting the family.
