He was a great leader and teacher. I had the good fortune to work for Sam at McNeil labs. We won't see his kind anytime soon.

What a great friend ,my entire family and Sam and Ann became such good friends. Always generous , I was their builder when they lived in Valley Forge , Pa. As we became friend we did many things with them socially too. He is at peace now and with Ann , whom he missed dearly.  Love Ralph ,Karen, Ralph 111 ,and Cameron Finkbiner

Sam lived and worked displaying the virtues and values that we would all want.
  
He always talked about his wonderful' wife Ann and how important she was in his life.  Every time we talked he had a very positive story about each of his 5 sons.  He always spoke of their adventures, accomplishments and how proud he was of them!

He was great Leader, Boss, Mentor, Friend and Confidant.  He practiced 1. Treating people with respect and dignity.  And 2. Getting the maximum results.  He will always be a legend within J&J and all people that knew him.

He changed my life and I will greatly miss my conversations with him!

I have heard about Sam from my J&J colleagues and even though I knew his son, Sam, Jr whom I worked with at Lederle Labs, he sounds like he was a really wonderful person.  My condolence to the family.

Sam was already a legend when I finally met him. I was lucky to have him for a boss. This was in Columbus Ohio. He loved his Buckeyes. I am glad he experienced the success they had last season. Times with him and Ann are among my favorite memories at McNeil. They were a great couple with a great family.

Sam was a member of the Sons Of Italy organization...he will be missed..

Sam was a great leader and every bit as much a friend. His impact on my career will never be forgotten. Sam is now with Ann who he missed immensely. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the memorial service as we are currently in Florida. My thoughts and prayers will be with the Testa family during this time of sadness.

Sam meant very much to me and he had a significant influence on my career.   I never would have achieved the success that I did without his help and support.  He was always very passionate about the business but even more passionate about supporting the people who worked for him.  He was a real champion for the sales force and always fought for what was right and fair.  He will never be forgotten and he will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Our sympathies to the Testa family on your loss.  Sam was a beloved leader at McNeil and a great friend of our family.
