Ralph Leonard “Jack” Latham, 87, of Marietta, passed away on May 15, 2017. He was an Atlanta native, born on August 9, 1929, to parents Ralph Ezekiel Latham and Ruby B. Lynn Latham. Jack attended Tech High School and graduated from Brown High School in 1948. In September of 1948 he enlisted in the United States Navy and served until his retirement in 1975 at the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Following his retirement, Jack started 2 aerosol and adhesive businesses in the Woodstock community. Jack enjoyed woodworking and spending time at Lake Burton. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lucille Dorris Latham; sons, Ralph Leonard Latham, Jr. (Barbara) and Phillip Leslie Latham; grandchildren, Phillip Leslie Latham, Jr. and Emily Elizabeth Latham; and sister, Jeanette Lois Moore. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lloyd Latham. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11 AM.
