Nancy Elaine Gilbert

Nancy Elaine Kay Gilbert, daughter of Henry Monroe Kay and Nelia Preston Kay was born on April 28th of 1942 in Savannah Georgia. She was reunited with our Heavenly Father on October 21st of 2023. She was a graduate of Marietta High School and the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing. She started her career at Kennestone Hospital, continued working as an RN and DON for almost 50 years. Nancy was the loving, caring, and giving mother of Shannon and Derek Gilbert, loving grandmother of Van Gilbert, and loving sister. She is survived by her two sons, grandson, sister Carole Crowder, and her brothers Anthony Kay and David Kay. Her funeral service will held on Friday October 27th of 2023 at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. Viewing at 11:00 AM and funeral service at 12:00 PM.

Graveside service will take place at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
