Robin loved her family with passion. She loved to laugh and loved Alabama Football and all animals! She was a devoted Wife, Sister, Mimi and Aunt! She was never at a loss for words! If you knew Robin, you loved Robin! Robin spent her career in Customer Service with her favorite jobs being at Natalie's Bridal and serving her customers at Wells Fargo Bank. Robin was a long-time member at Sharon Baptist church in Smyrna. Later, Robin joined with Dexter at Christ Abundant Life Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Derrick Flanagan.
Robin is survived by her loving husband: Dexter Boykin; Step Sons: Edmond Boykin, Justin and Nicole Boykin, Christopher and Jasmyne Boykin; 9 step grandchildren: Xavier, Kylan, Khloe, Khalil, JaQuae, Jeremiah, Cameron, Christin and Jace that affectionately called her Mimi; Brother: David and Carole Cannon; Nephew: Chad and Lauren Cannon; Great Nephews: Barrett Cannon, Colt Cannon; Niece: Chasidi and John Sharp; Great Nieces: Jane Sharp, Mae Sharp, Ann Sharp; Niece: Lindsey and Joe MacMillan; Great Niece: Kate MacMillan; Mother in Law: Celia Watkins; Sister In Laws: Linda and Ira Rankins, Mariesa and Marvin Jones and Nakeshia Boykin. Robin also leaves behind countless Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that she loved dearly.
Funeral service for Mrs. Robin will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM, from the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Reinhardt officiating. Interment will follow the service in the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 1:00 pm.
