She was married to Arnold J. Woodring for 62 years until his death in 2011. Eloise was a loving mother to sons Larry (Sharon); Wayne (Connie); and Glen (Peggy). She is also survived by brothers-in-law Vaughn and Evan Woodring; many devoted nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Keith; and her 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Eloise was a passionate gardener and enjoyed gardening with her husband Arnold. They were especially proud of their prize tomato crop each year. Eloise was a devoted Braves fan. Among other retirement activities, Eloise served as poll worker in Cobb County elections for many years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Eloise, can be made to Donors choice.
A Visitation for Eloise will be held Monday, January 29th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 300603759. Funeral Services will occur Monday, January 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Committal will occur, follow the Funeral Service on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
