James Curtis Moye was born April 22, 1924 in Tifton, GA to Rodasier Lafayette Moye and Elizabeth Rebecca Burgess. He was raised the youngest of 10 brothers and sisters and later served his country in the U.S. Navy with two of his brothers.
In 1945 he married Virginia Mae Haddon and was blessed with 2 daughters and 1 son. He cherished her in sickness and health until her death in 1993.
Curtis was a truck driver for many years and prided himself on that fact. He worked for Yellow Freight System until he retired. Our dad participated in our sports and activities, coaching ball teams(baseball and softball), witnessing our bowling skills and even joining leagues with us. He was always a part of our lives and the lives of his 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Truly, he a wonderful man and had the knack of making us all laugh until God called him home.
He later married Donna Marie Flora and welcomed her 2 sons and only daughter and their families into his heart.
He will forever be missed by his wife, Donna and family, sons Steve and David Brannon and daughter Vicki Boartfield.
Until we meet again daddy, Daughter and spouse Jean McCloud(Tom), son and spouse Earl Moye(Lori), daughter and spouse Vickie Dillard(Barry) and daughter Brenda Jessie.
