Gregory Mark Robertson, age 59, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on January 17th, 2019. He was born in 1959 to Clayton & Dorothy Robertson (Mother and Daddy). He was an Atlanta native, it was here, where he met the love of his life, Lisa. They were married for 36 years and raised their two girls in Roswell/Marietta where he owned and operated the Shell station at Johnson Ferry and Lassiter Road for over 30 years. Most recently, he worked at Biscuits & More for his good friend, Chuck. In his spare time, he enjoyed taking care of his family and making daily trips to Publix for dinner ingredients. He was a known storyteller. He always had a story and was great at telling them, you really felt like you were there and they almost always resulted in a laugh. He loved feeding the birds, watching the birds and really keeping up with any type of wildlife he came into contact with, whether it was deer, snakes, coyotes, foxes and even chipmunks. He enjoyed listening to music, and some of his favorites were the Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, the list goes on. Taqueria del Sol was his favorite place for dinner, where he would always order the turnip greens and keep up with the weekly specials. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and cheered them on every Saturday from August to December. He is extremely loved, treasured and survived by his wife, Lisa, his daughters, Michelle (her husband, Ryan Farinella) and Caitlin (her husband, James Leech) granddaughter, Harper, and his mother Dorothy. Greg was predeceased by his father, Clayton and his brother, Ronnie. His death will be mourned by his family, his many friends, and the entire community with whom he came into contact. He made every acquaintance feel like a friend and never missed an opportunity to tell a story, share a kind word, or just pick you up with his positive attitude and humor.
