Dale B Hanson

Mr. Dale B Hanson, age 91, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. He was born on May 21, 1933 on his family farm in Ransom, County, North Dakota to the late Elmer and Mary Hanson. He attended Lohn School which during the time was a grades 1 through 8th a one room school house. He went on to attend high school and graduated from Fort Ransom High. During his childhood and teenage years, he worked on the family farm. In early adulthood, he moved to Seattle, Washington where he was employed with Boeing Aircraft Company; inducted into the U.S. Army, serving two years active duty, 4 years reserves. On May 14th, 1960 he married the love of his life, Vivian Bowles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Y. Hanson; children: Anthony B. Hanson, Scott Allen B. Hanson (Wendy), Tracey M. Nizzari (David); five grandchildren: Jacob Hewgley (Riley), Hunter Hewgley (Julianne), Tori Hanson, Angela Hewgley, Anton Hanson; sister, Audrey Morelock. In addition to his parents, he is also pre-deceased by his brothers, Wayne & Ray Hanson.

A visitation for Dale will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son-Canton Hill, 1157 Old Canton Road Ne, Marietta, GA 30068. A funeral service will occur Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at HM Patterson Canton Hill Chapel . A military committal service will occur Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114.
