Betty Eason Probasco

Betty Ann Probasco, age 93 of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Funeral service will be 1 PM Friday, November 10, 2023 at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Joe Buckner officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery on Whitlock Avenue

Ms. Probasco was born in Anniston, Alabama and was a long time resident of Marietta. She was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church and worked at T.W. Lord Insurance Agency for over 30 years before retiring. Ms. Probasco played piano for Crestview Baptist Church for 30 years and played for Sunday School Classes at Roswell Street Baptist and Azalea Manor Assisted Living. She also loved to travel.

Ms. Probasco is preceded in death by her husbands Vincent Autrey and Joseph Probasco, daughter Karen Baker and granddaughter Jill Godwin. She is survived by daughters Kathy Chappell (Bill) of Cartersville, Melanie Metcalf (Tom) of Powder Springs, and Darlene Williams (Read) of Marietta; son-in-law Allen Baker; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta from 12 to 1 PM on Friday before the service.
