Mrs. Bessie (Bess) Ward Crittendon, 93, died Sunday, March 4th, 2018. Mrs. Crittendon was born in High Point, North Carolina; to the late John and Gertrude Fields Ward. She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband of 63 years, Horace Eugene Crittendon and his great-grandson, Hunter Meckes. Her survivors include, her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra L. and David Dietz; 2 grandchildren, Sherry D. Meckes, of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania; and Scott D. Dietz of Lehighton, Pennsylvania; and 5 great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 8th, 2018, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Her funeral service will be held at the 1:00 o'clock hour, on Thursday as well. Interment will follow on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
