Thomas was born on March 1, 1936, in Baldwin, New York, to Richard Sause and Clara Purick. He grew up alongside his siblings Richard, Joan, and Howard. On August 17, 1956, he married Margaret Tully in Long Island, New York, and they shared many wonderful years together.
Thomas dedicated 44 years of his professional life to AT&T, where he worked as a Team Manager. Beyond his career, he was deeply committed to his community. He actively participated in St. Vincent De Paul, Meals on Wheels, and was a devoted member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church. There, he served as a eucharistic minister for many years, touching the lives of many with his faith and compassion.
Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Jane, his first wife Margaret, and his grandson Kevin. He is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Camille Sause; his cherished children Christopher, Elizabeth, Adam, John, Patrick, and Megan; and his many treasured grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home in Margate, Florida. A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 19, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church in North Lauderdale, Florida, followed by burial at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Thomas will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, faith, and community. His kindness and generosity have left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
