Teresa Gay Thompson

Teresa loved the outdoors. She enjoyed spending her free time fishing, canoeing, hiking and gardening. She was an avid collector of everything wolf related. Above all, she loved her time spent with her grandkids and family.

Teresa is survived by her significant other John Rasmussen; children Bryan Thompson and Robert Gibson; her grandchildren Brandon Thompson, Hailey Gibson, Chevie Gibson, Robert Gibson Jr., Benjamin Gibson, and Nicholas Gibson; her brothers Terry Thompson and Timothy Thompson; her sister Tina (Robert) John; and her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation for Teresa will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, Illinois 60152. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM.. A burial will occur Friday, May 12, 2023 at Marengo City Cemetery, Marengo, IL 60152.
