Ronald Klatt, 90, passed away December 9, 2024 peacefully at home.

Ronald proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Stationed in Norfolk, VA from August 1951 - November 1954 in aviation. He served in the U.S. Army, Stationed in Columbia, SC from October 1955 - 1958 as a guided missile communication specialist.

Ronald married the love of his life, Carolyn Fick, December 15, 1956 in Blue Island, IL.

Ronald was a kind, caring, generous man who was loved by many. Ron loved God, camping, fishing, golf, bowling and spending time with family and friends. He always saw the best in people and had a great sense of humor.

Ron was an avid sports fan with the Cubs, White Sox, and Chicago Bears being his favorites. He could tell you anything you wanted to know about baseball - he knew the stats.

Ron is survived by his daughters Lorri Ligocki & Linda Schmidt; his son Larry Klatt; his grandchildren Christopher Ligocki, Devin Sangster (Klatt), Brianna Klatt, Karilyn Mujica (Schmidt), Donovan Schmidt & Kathryn Schmidt; and his great-grandchildren Arabella Mujica, Roman Mujica, Amelia Mujica, Light Ligocki, Leo Ligocki, Joshua Sangster & Silas Sangster.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on December 19, 2024, with visitation from 11am-12pm and service at 12pm.

Ron will be greatly missed, forever loved, and cherished by many.
