Edward Michael Tokarz

He had been a resident of Marco Island for the past 20 years and is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Julia Rose Tokarz.

Edward cherished hosting gatherings, especially for his family. On the island, he enjoyed taking them to Pinchers, a local favorite where he was a familiar face, often ordering oysters and raising a toast in Polish with a cheerful “na zdrowie”. He also loved traveling north to visit his loved ones, making these trips memorable for everyone. Edward found joy in working outdoors in his children's yards, sharing his wisdom about life and work ethic with his grandchildren, and enjoying time with his great-grandchildren.

Edward was the beloved patriarch of the Tokarz family. He is survived by his sister Millie Frye, three children, Michael (Patricia) Tokarz, Joseph (Lisa) Tokarz, and Donna Healey; as well as his grandchildren, Adam (Catherine) Tokarz, Joseph (Kimberly Spinney) Healey, Bryanna (Steven) Delf, Jared (Peri) Tokarz, Jessica Tokarz, Zachary Tokarz, and Derek Tokarz. Edward also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Caroline and Molly Tokarz, and Logan Delf.

Edward will be deeply missed by all that loved him.

A mass will be held at San Marco Catholic Church on Monday, October 28th, at 10:30am. Following the service, a reception celebrating Edward's life will take place in the social room of the Monterrey Condominium.
