James "Bill" Kenney, Sr

James “Bill” Kenney, Sr., age 87 of Marblehead, Massachusetts passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. Bill was born on January 22, 1935 to Charles Morse Kenney and Gladys Irene (Finnamore) Kenney, and grew up in Stoneham, MA. He was preceded by his beloved wife Virginia Healy Kenney and sister Patricia Huntington and is survived by his brother Charles “Dick” Kenney and wife Linda, daughter Tammy Bevins, husband Scott, and grandchildren Leah and Sam Bevins of Yarmouth, ME, and son Bill Kenney Jr. and wife Kelly of Newport, RI and countless unruly nieces and nephews.

Bill was a 62-year resident of Marblehead, an active sailor, and had a long career in commercial and naval ship repair in Boston. His friends and family will be forever grateful for Bill’s limitless generosity, unrivaled loyalty, and adventurous spirit.

Relatives and friends may join the family for a celebration of life on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street.
