Catherine M. Hammond

She was in the insurance field and was employed for the Joe Greene Insurance Agency until becoming ill. She will be remembered for her wit, her involvement with Marblehead Little Theater, and her work with her High School Committee, Class of 1961.

Cathie is pre-deceased by her brother, William, her sister, Mary Margaret, and Nephew, Sean. She is survived by sisters Anne Khatchadurian, and Johannah Crowley and her husband John all of Marblehead; Nephews Michael and Holly Khatchadurian of Reston, VA and children; Timothy and Kimberly Crowley of Marblehead and children; and niece Christine and David Nylund and children of Peachtree City, GA.

Special thanks to Debbie Kerzwick for her loving care to Cathie. We would also like to thank the staff of the Jesmond Nursing Home.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Friday, October 31 at 11AM. Burial to follow in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visitation will begin at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, please do an act of kindness for someone else in Cathie’s name.
