Marvin E. Finn, 77, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away October 31, 2013. Marvin was a successful entrepreneur and renaissance man whose hobbies included piloting, golfing and traveling the world. He was a man of intense faith and generosity, giving both his time and contributions to a myriad of worthy causes. He enjoyed nothing more than sharing life with his vast and loving family and viewing the beautiful and serene Texas sunsets by the lake with his wife, Linda of 40 years, until she sadly preceded him in death two years prior. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister and his daughter, Michelle.
Marvin courageously battled cancer with the same vigor and tenacity in which he lived his life. The mark he left is indelible and will be greatly missed by his eldest son, Greg, his daughter-in-law, Brenda and grandson, Matthew; his youngest son, Michael and his future daughter-in-law, Leah, as well as his care taker for the past year and a half and his sister-in-law, JoAnn Overholser.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 6:00-8:00PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday, November 8 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
