She was born near Montell, Texas, on September 11, 1925 to William Samuel Tidwell and Genoa Hunter Tidwell.
Faye is survived by her son Perry Edward Farley and his wife Annette, daughter Jamie Elizabeth King and her husband Dwight, and daughter Dana Bernice Schafer and husband Speck. One son, Michael Stephen Farley, preceded her in death. She is also survived by a younger brother Marcus Elton Tidwell and wife Betty, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Faye was a quiet, loving lady who greatly anticipated her family gatherings and cherished those times when the family was together. She loved camping and fishing with late husband Roland, all kinds of games and outings, especially cruises.
She was a long-time member of the Methodist Church, and was loved and cherished by all of her friends.
Visitation will be at the Sunset Chapel in Brackettville, Texas, on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. A funeral service will be at 1:30 in Brackettville at the Kinney County Cemetery.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Dwight King, Speck Schafer, P.J. Farley, Cecil Farley, Pete Lopez and Richard Schafer.
A memorial service will be held on December 16, 2019 at Wildflower Meadows in Burnet, Texas, where Faye enjoyed living for the last 5 years.
