Skylar was born on September 9, 2001 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Kasie (Sherwood) Jacobs. She cherished every moment she had with her family and friends. Her favorite movie was the Nightmare Before Christmas. She enjoyed camping, sitting around a bonfire, swimming and singing karaoke.
She is survived by her parents; her sister, Victoria; her grandparents, Timothy Sherwood Sr., Peggy Lillibridge, and Steve McKinney; her aunt, Jen (Philip) Bentley; her uncle, Timothy (Stephanie) Sherwood Jr.; and her God parents, Tyler and Melissa Riggenbach. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Jeannie Sherwood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Companions of Ashland Conference Room, 1256 E. Main St. Ashland, OH 44805. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Epilepsy Foundation, 3540 Crain Highway, Suite 675, Bowie, MD 20716.
