Patricia June Mangan, 72, of Mansfield died November 29, 2002 at home unexpectedly. Patty went peacefully to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Patty was born February 4, 1930 in Waterford, Ohio and resided in the Mansfield area most of her life. She enjoyed cooking, was a loving mother and cherished the time spent with her family; she was affectionately known as 'Grandma Pat' to her ten grandchildren. Her greatest gift was her devotion to being a mother and grandmother who instilled kindness and love on her children and family. To all of those who knew Patty, she genuinely nurtured their friendship and love.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Debbie Mangan, Robb and Annette Mangan; two daughters and one son-in-law Jenny and Jeff Morris, and Nancy Fox, all who will miss her greatly. Patty's children all reside in the Mansfield area. Her ten grandchildren are A.J. and David Mangan, J.C. and Molly Mangan, Jordan, Jaime, Josie and Jace Morris, Jenny and Carrie Fox. Also surviving are her sister Joan Warner of Ephrata, Washington, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Katie Mangan of Ft. Myers, Florida, sister-in-law Genevieve Frizzell of Mansfield and eleven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Bryson and Thelma Carr Frizzell, her husband Robert E. Mangan, brother Kenneth Frizzell, sister Nancy Frizzell Newman and nephew Kenneth Frizzell, Jr.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday December 2, 2002 from 6:00 to 9:00. Private family services will be held at the funeral home conducted by Pastor David Pound of Berean Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Patty was a charitable person and the family therefore requests that contributions be made to Richland Pregnancy Services or hospice.
