Michelle Lyn Crawford

Michelle Crawford, 44, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in Lake Wales, FL. She was born July 29, 1980, to Robert and Ruth Sesco in Mansfield, OH. Michelle loved to spend time with family and friends. She lived for her children and the people she loved. Michelle enjoyed reading, especially true crime stories. She liked horror movies, crime and cooking shows on TV, and loved to cook and take care of people. She liked playing cards and even had an ongoing Rummy game of 23 years with her sister and best friend, Stephanie. The game is unfinished, but Michelle is ahead.

Michelle is survived by her daughter, Imani Holmes; son, Jalen Crawford; stepdaughter, Shawntivia Cobb; mother, Ruth Sesco; stepfather, Charles Murray; stepmother, Linda Sesco; best friend and sister, Stephanie Thompson; nephew, Ayden Johnson; special friend Shawn Beard; bonus son, Shawn, Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shawn Crawford; father, Bobby Sesco, Jr.; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family. Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield is honored to serve the Crawford family.
