Lori A. Hagar

Lori was a graduate of Madison High School and was employed at Catalyst Life Services. She was a high spirited and loving person who will be fondly remembered for her larger than life personality. She was often rescuing animals resulting in a small zoo at her home. Lori enjoyed many outdoor activities ~ from camping, to watching her daughter play soccer, to playing a round of golf, often making up her own rules! Her favorite meal was pizza, as she could eat it every night as long as it was from a different pizza place. Lori enjoyed sports of all kinds but especially enjoyed following The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Hagar whom she married August 24, 1996; her daughter, Cheri Shields; three siblings, Steve (Denise) McClellan, Fred McClellan and Kathy (Mike) Norris; eight nieces and nephews, Lynelle, Taylor, Christopher, Matthew, James, Shannon, Michael and Samantha; numerous other family and friends; and her favorite dog, Emmy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. A Celebration of Lori's life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13 at the Amvets Post 26, 1100 West Fourth Street, Ontario, Ohio 44906. The family would like to request that you wear something themed either for The Ohio State Buckeyes or Cleveland Indians to her services in honor of Lori. A private burial will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park.
