Gary Artrip

Gary Curtis Artrip, Jr., 46, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away Monday, March 24, 2014. Born October 22, 1967 in Springfield, Ohio he was the son of Gary C. Artrip, Sr. and Brenda J. (Thompson) Johnson. He was a NASCAR fan with his favorite drivers being Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and also enjoyed following the Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda J. (Thompson) Johnson of Millersburg, Ohio; his father, Gary C. (Rita) Artrip, Sr. of South Pointe, Ohio; a son, Gary Allen Fisher; a granddaughter, Aubree Lynn Fisher of Lexington, Ohio; three sisters, Sandra (Claude) Jervis, Carissa (John) Fowler both of Mansfield and Carrie (Jay) Rowsey of South Point, Ohio; two brothers, Charles E. (Donna) Artrip of Mansfield, Ohio and Curtis (Megan) Artrip of Wheelersburg, Ohio; three step siblings, Rhonda Salmons of Crum, West Virginia, Ray Hunt of Fort Gay, West Virginia and Chris Hunt of Huntington, West Virginia; four nephews and three nieces, and his grandmother, Hildred Artrip.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Drive, Ontario. Additional services will be held Thursday and Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, Kentucky with burial in Wellman Cemetery, Fort Gay, West Virginia.
