Earl was born January 4, 1949 in Logan, West Virginia to Ransom and Geneve Kelly Brewer. Earl retired from Amera Screw after 52 years of dedicated service. He married the love of his life, Betty on July 3, 1969, and together they built a beautiful life together. He had a love for the outdoors, especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and bird watching. He enjoyed bowling and had even bowled a 300, an accomplishment he was proud of. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW Post #3494, Eagles Post #336 and the Sons of Herman.
He leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories his wife of 55 years, Betty Clinage Brewer; his daughter, Jenny Brewer; grandchildren, Amanda (Jon) Krouse, Aaron (Jessica) Brewer, Earl Joseph (Samantha) Brewer, Tara Zack, Summer B. Brewer, Heaven R. Brewer, and Johnnie Beidlecheis; great-grandchildren, Nova, Finn, Spencer, Brantley, Wesson, Emmett, Delilah; his sisters, Marjorie Bailey, Delora Thomas, Kathy (Jim) Stehle; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Harris and Linda Brewer; and his beloved dog, Shiloh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Earl Brewer Jr., his siblings, Annabelle (Bobby) Browning, Ransom (Carol) Brewer, Joe Brewer; his son-in-law, Ronnie Coldwell and brothers-in-law, Robert Clinage, Raymond Thomas, Jim Clinage, and Ray Harris.
Family and friends may visit from 4:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. An additional hour of visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice.
