Debora was born on August 16, 1955 in Mansfield, Ohio to Larry Banks and late Martha (Robertson) Banks. She was a 1973 Lucas High School graduate and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for most of her life. Debora was employed for many years at Essex and Therm-O-Disc where she built long lasting friendships. Throughout her life, she gave much care to her family and her door was always open to everyone. She was more than a sister, aunt and friend; she was a motherly figure to anyone who crossed her path. Above all, she was the most amazing mother to her daughter who she loved with all of her heart. She enjoyed spending time with her only grandson, Kade. Deb was immensely proud of her family. She had a genuine love for all of her animals. Deb also enjoyed painting her nails, coloring, and indulging in her favorite TV shows. With a quick witted personality and a smile that could light up the room, she leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
Debora is survived by the father of her daughter, with whom she shared many years of life with, Nehemiah Gregory; her daughter, Victoria (Jeremy) Marchant; her grandson, Kade Marchant; her father, Larry Banks; her siblings, Greg (Tiffany Krachtt) Banks, Terry (Greg) Banks, John Banks, and Melissa (Buster) Cyrus; her sister-in-law, Sandy Banks; many special nieces, nephews; and other cherished family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Banks; her brother, Scott Banks; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and a niece, Jessica Banks Kanady.
Family and friends may visit from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd. A Celebration of Life will be held from 7:00-10:30 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Lexington Event Center, 192 E. Main Street Lexington, OH 44904. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
