Christa Ann Yates

Christa Ann Yates, 73, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024. She was born April 3, 1951. She was one of five children born to Christ and Betty Alamanteoff. Christa was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. She loved reading, knitting, and many other crafts. Christa enjoyed life and was full of laughter. She was a member of Abundant Grace Fellowship Church in Mansfield.

Christa is survived by her son; stepdaughters, Tina (Fliger) (Rodney) Pittman and Nina (James) Kash; siblings, Karen S Wilson of Bay City, MI, Barbara J. LaForest of Bay City, MI, Chris Alamanteoff of Bay City, MI, and John C. Gilbert of Oregon; special friend Rose Sullivan; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clarence Dale Yates.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Abundant Grace Fellowship Church, 1080 W. Longview Ave, Mansfield, OH 44906, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Relay for Life. Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield is honored to serve the Yates family.
