Charles Robert Tolley

Charles Robert Tolley, 87 years old, Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on July 15, 2024 in Mansfield. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on October 29, 1936 to the late Alberta (Cross) and Arista Tolley.

He retired as a crane operator from Armco Steel with 30 years of service. Charles enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie, shooting pool and woodworking. He was an active member of United Steel Workers #169.

Charles is survived by his children, Bob (Rachel) Tolley, Clark Tolley, Beth (Mike) Howell, Deb (John) Jackson and Charley Tolley; his sister, Wanda (Charles) Tauber; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; and other cherished family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Odell (Byron) Tolley; second wife, Rose (Duncan) Tolley; his parents; son Eric Tolley and great-great grandson CJ.

The family would like to thank Dr. Exten, Dr. Viswanathan and the medical team at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital Cancer Center. Private graveside services will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park. Wappner Funeral Directors – Mansfield, is honored to serve the family.
