Alexis was born February 24, 1967 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Alex and Joan (Ogle) Petroff. Alexis graduated from Madison Comprehensive High School class of 1985. After high school she was a talented hairdresser, working at Reflections Salon and Spa and at the Van Scoy Hair Clinic. Alexis also worked at the Richland County Auditor’s office. She worked as a bartender for many years at the 40 year old family owned and operated business, Mr. P’s Bar and Grill and most recently enjoyed working at Kingwood Center.
Alexis always strived to live her life to the fullest. She was often the life of the party and knew how to have a great time. In her earlier years, Alexis was a Madison Ramette, a competitive swimmer where she excelled in diving, and was an amazing gymnast and loved to show off her front and back handsprings. Her love for sports continued and she was a member of a golf league for many years. Her love for the outdoors never stopped. She always enjoyed time outside, gardening, caring for the birds, visiting the lakes, soaking up the sun, or planning her next vacation while working on a craft here and there. She has a great curiosity for chasing ambulances and following storms, fear never stood in Alexis’s way with anything in her life.
Alexis will be missed by many.
