Suzanne M. O'Donnell

Suzanne M. O’Donnell, 80, of Manchester Township, NJ, passed away on Monday March 13, 2023, at Care One at Wall, with her family by her side. Suzanne was born and raised in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan where she met and married her husband in 1966. After graduating from St. Vincent’s Nursing School in Manhattan, she continued her career as an RN in the Pediatrics Unit at Memorial Sloan -Kettering Cancer Center, and, after moving to Staten Island in 1966, at Doctor’s Hospital and ultimately at Carmel Richmond Nursing Home. After retiring, Suzanne moved to Manchester, NJ where she continued her dedication to caring for the elderly through various charitable organizations. She loved swimming, gardening and bowling but, what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas P. O’Donnell, her children; Thomas P. O’Donnell and his wife Claudia, Katherine O’Donnell, Patricia O’Donnell and Maureen Epstein and her husband Austin, and her grandchildren; Michael O’Donnell, Brodie Epstein, Grace Epstein and Nolan Epstein. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Brown.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester Twp., NJ, 08759, on Monday March 20, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Tuesday March 21, 2023, at Saint John’s RC Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733, with interment to follow at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Street, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
