Phyllis Sheets, 88, of Manchester died peacefully Thursday, October 6. Born in Ore Hill, PA, she resided in Eatontown before moving to Manchester in 1960.
She was the Board Secretary of Manchester Schools, a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the Methodist Church and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Shade Tree Commission, the Advisory Board of OCTVS and an avid fisherman.
Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Russell Sheets. She is survived by her two sons, Orlando G. Sheets of S.D. and Russell E. Sheets of Pa., and her daughter, Charlann Sheets Monica; her sister, Doris Covert, 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
