John E. Gennarelli, Jr., age 79, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024. John was born and raised in Newark, NJ, and then served in the Army during the Vietnam War. John lived in Jackson before moving to Toms River. He worked as a technician for AmTote for many years before he retired and he then started working for the NJ Racing Commission. John spent most of his life working around race tracks. He enjoyed watching the Yankees and going to Atlantic City. He especially loved spending time in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
John is survived by his wife Deborah Lennox, his son, Richard Gennarelli and his wife Jennifer of Mount Pleasant, SC, and his grandchildren, Carter, Mia and Madison.
