Barbara Tart

Barbara L. Tart, 75, of Manchester, NJ passed away Thursday November 14, 2019 at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, Lakewood, NJ surrounded by her loving family. Born in Staten Island, Barbara had grown up there until her move to Manchester 10 years ago. Barbara worked as a Nurses Aide & Unit Clerk at Clove Lakes Healthcare & Rehab Center in Staten Island for over 20 years. When Barbara moved to Manchester she took a job at Bella Terra Nursing Home in Jackson as well as at Spring Oak in Toms River. Barbara was a natural born caregiver which led her to taking care of the elderly after her retirement. Barbara was predeceased by her parents William and Emma Stetter and nine of her twelve siblings. She is survived by her four loving children; daughters, Karen Kauffman and her husband Gary, Linda Murphy and her husband Joseph, Dawn Tirone and her husband Jack and son Jeff Tart and his wife Suzanne, her 10 grandchildren, Joseph and his wife Kate, Kevin and his wife Nicole, Sarah, Mallory, Jack, Mark, Shawn, Julia, Nicholas and Matthew, and her two great grandchildren, Joseph and Evelyn. She is survived by her siblings Marilyn Hafer, Beverly Bartsh and Rudy Stetter, and Barbara’s friend and companion Victor Blyskal.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 7, 2019 from 2-4 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759 at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance by visiting www.ocrahope.org
