Anthony F. Marzelli, 93, of Manchester, NJ, passed away at his home on Monday January 8, 2018. Born in and raised in Brooklyn, Anthony moved to Leisure Village West in Manchester 14 years ago. He worked as a Teamster for many years and was a parishioner for Saint John’s Church in Lakehurst, NJ. Anthony was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly served during WWII and at the Battle of the Bulge. He loved being with his family.
Anthony is predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Phyllis, just this past September, his brothers Joseph and Louis and his sister Rita. He is survived by his loving daughters Jeanne Parisi and her husband Gene, and Patricia Pole and her husband Ron, and his son Anthony Marzelli, Jr. and his wife Caroline, his 6 adored grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, his brothers Nicholas and Frank and sisters Rose Giardinelli, Roni Marzelli and Jo DeCrescenzo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday January 10, 2018, from 4-8 pm, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. Services to start on Thursday January 11, 2018, 10 am at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 am at Saint John’s Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
