Born in Orange, he resided in Roseland, NJ for most of his life before settling in Manchester over 20 years ago. In the winters, he and his wife also enjoyed spending time at their home in Lake Worth, FL.
Prior to retiring, he owned and operated a gas station and trucking company, Capone Trucking, with his father and brothers. Chuck continued on to manage a golf course in West Orange, NJ, which he really enjoyed. A veteran of the US Marine Corps, he honorably served our country from 1951-1953. Chuck was also a lover of golf and football, which took ahold of many of his Saturdays and Sundays. More than anything else, he loved his family and will be remembered by his ability to light up a room and keep everyone laughing and entertained.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Loretta Piro, Carmine Capone, and Joseph Capone; and his son-in-law, James Naughton.
Surviving are his loving wife of 70 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Capone; his children: Karen Congero and her husband Robert W. Behringer, Kim Naughton, Kathy Vacca and her husband John, and Carmine Capone and his wife Susan; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Anna Ippolito and her husband Pat; and two sisters-in-law: Marie Capone and MaryAnn Capone. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
