She was born Marie Rose Emma Gourre on December 12, 1925 to Alfred and Rose (Cloutier) Gourre in Manchester, NH where she lived her entire life. A devout Catholic, she was baptized at Saint George’s Parish in Manchester, NH.
Rose enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking for family and friends and taking long walks in the neighborhoods surrounding her home. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Joseph T. Keane.
Rose will be sadly missed by her friends and family, her son; Thomas Joseph Keane and his wife Julie of Allenstown; grandchildren, Tonya Peterson of Ocoee, FL and Tara Keane of Northwood, NH; great-grandchildren; Declan, Keagan, Bella and Liam; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Per Rose’s wish, there are no formal funeral services planned, including calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of McHugh Funeral Home, located at 283 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, located at 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
