Pauline Demey

She was the wife of Nicholas Demey (Demetrakopoulos) for 66 years. Upon moving to Manchester after her marriage, she became a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral where she was involved in many church activities, committees, and the Ladies’ Tri Ortho Group.

Pauline was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, and 5 brothers and sisters, Chris Stamas, Nancy Stathis, Anna Davis, Sophie Pappas and James Stamas.

She is survived by her 3 children, Anthony and Nancy Demey of Oakton, VA, Mark & Debra Demey Naylor of Concord, NH, George Demey of Manchester, NH and granddaughter Crystal Lee Naylor of Somerville, MA. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and her koumbardi, the Kostaras family.

Pauline’s family, immediate and extended, were the center of her life.

SERVICE: Calling hours were held at the McHugh Funeral Home, 483 Beech Street, Manchester, NH on Wednesday, May 27 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:30 AM funeral service at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
