Judith C. Zimmerman

She was raised in Nashua and came to the Manchester area with her late husband, Reverend Walter G. Zimmerman to establish the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She worked alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife and provided tremendous support to his ministry. Rev. Zimmerman passed away on May 10, 2002.

Mrs. Zimmerman especially enjoyed her work in the church’s Food Ministry. She cherished her family as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by four children, Linda C. DesRoches and her husband Tony of Merrimack, Betty A. Kelloway and her husband Joel of Merrimack, Mark S. Zimmerman and his wife Carol of Londonderry and Verna L. Berube and her husband David of Hooksett; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a sister Joan M. Andruchuck of Hudson; Many nieces and nephews; dear, close friends, Carol J. French and John Hopps.

Calling hours were held on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 14 Mammoth Rd., Hooksett. A funeral service was held at 11 AM on Friday in the Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 14 Mammoth Rd. Hooksett, NH 03106.
