Her early years were spent in Bangor and she moved with her family to Manchester in the early 1970’s. She was a graduate of Memorial High School. For many years she was employed at Coldwater Creek in Concord as the assistant manager until illness forced her retirement in November 2007.
Cynthia enjoyed many endeavors including gardening, writing poetry and watching vintage films. She amazed everyone with her skill in trivia and the game of Jeopardy. Above all else, she loved and cherished her entire family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was a person who deeply touched all those who were fortunate to have her acquaintance.
She is survived by a daughter, Roseanna Veilleux of Concord; two sons, Robert Veilleux III of Berlin and Joshua Veilleux of Puyallup, WA; three grandchildren, Mason Veilleux, Margaret Boisvert and Kiera Veilleux; her parents, Nancy and Peter Predaris of Manchester and Alphonse and Alveine Laliberte of Stetson, ME; two sisters, Karen Tousignant of Northwood, NH and Kalliope Predaris of Manchester; a brother Jimmy Laliberte of Manchester; many nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by two sisters, Kandace Laliberte and Michele Laliberte.
Calling hours were on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday in St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CRVNA Hospice House, 250 Pleasant St., Concord NH 03301.
