Born on October 21, 1954 and raised in Flushing, Queens, Ron was the son of late Hans (Henry) Klug and Annamarie (Wurzel) Rosenow, and step-son of Hans (Mikey) Rosenow. Ron had been a resident of Morganville for the past 36 years. He was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Queens College, class of 1976, and a graduate of New York University Medical School, class of 1980. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Ron joined Ophthalmic Physicians of Monmouth in Holmdel, NJ in 1986 providing dedicated ophthalmic care to his patients for 36 years. Ron had countless joys in his life including all things music, travel, cooking, and photography, but none more than spending time with his family and friends.
Along with his devoted wife, Jackie, Ron is survived by his two daughters, Amy and Nicole; several cousins; and many friends who became family.
A funeral service will be held in his honor at 3:00P on Sunday, November 20th at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726.
