Lawrence H. Dubow, 87, of Jackson, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born in the Bronx, Lawrence was known for his razor-sharp mind, quick wit and frank opinions. His greatest passions were for his wife of 32 years, Judith Dubow, his children and grandchildren, as well as harness horses, which he loved to own and race.
Lawrence graduated from City College in Manhattan. Later, he capitalized on his fantastic sales skills, founding and operating a successful business selling balers, compactors and shredders.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Judith Dubow; his daughters, Michele Dubow, Holly Martin and her husband Kevin, and Jennifer Dubow; stepdaughters, Michelle Rozsa, Francine Trachtenberg and her husband Joseph; his grandchildren, Alison Martin, Kara Martin, Daniel Trachtenberg and Juliana Trachtenberg.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Queens, New York. The family will observe Shiva at the Dubow’s residence on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 7-9 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2016 and Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
