Judith Fay Komitee

Judy loved fiercely, laughed heartily and has been described by so many who knew her as vibrant and fun. She was proud of the work she did, beginning many years ago at CBS, taking a break to start her family, and then again until she retired from Jersey Shore Medical Center's AIDS Clinic - the proudest and most fulfilling of her work. She was brave - one of the bravest in fact - fighting a long battle with cancer on and off for 23 years. Now she is at peace, hopefully drinking a bottle of wine, listening to Bruce Springsteen and dancing with her mom and dad, whom she missed so much.

Judith is survived by her daughter Bari Komitee; son Michael Komitee and his wife Rachel Kraemer; brother Gary Hirsch and his wife Kandy; and granddaughter Ellie Komitee.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mount Moriah Cemetery Chapel, 685 Fairview Avenue, Fairview, New Jersey 07022. Guests are asked to please arrive at 10:30 AM. The period of mourning will be observed at the residence of Michael Komitee and Rachel Kraemer following the burial as well as 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday.
