Robert “Bob” W. Thomas, 73 of Manahawkin New Jersey (formerly Queens, New York) passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at SeaCrest Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Robert resided in Manahawkin for over 25 years and worked for the Southern Regional transportation department for almost 20 years. Bob had a passion for golf, the Mets and the New York Giants.
Surviving are his children; Erica Thomas of Little Egg Harbor, Daniel Thomas and his wife Gina of Little Egg Harbor, Julie Cawen of Manahawkin, Robert Thomas of Manahawkin and two grandchildren, Megan Thomas of Manahawkin and Danny Thomas of Little Egg Harbor. Also surviving is his sister, Linda Ford and brother in law John of Langhorne, PA along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary of the Pines Church in Manahawkin, NJ on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 10:30-11:30 am followed by an 11:30 a.m. mass. His ashes will be spread at a beloved golf course.
