Patricia Gannon

She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Margaret (Callan) Virili and a son, Jeffrey Gannon.

She is survived by her husband, Cornelius Gannon of Manteo, NC, daughter Lt CDR Danielle Grady (USN Ret), son-in-law Dr. John Grady and grandchildren Maggie and Jake. She is also survived by sisters Margaret Graham and Elizabeth McCullum as well nephews Robert Graham, Christopher Graham, Thomas Mackie and nieces Christina Johnson and Tory Mackie.

Patricia received an associate’s degree as a courtroom recorder and later was employed in the nuclear industry before assuming her most coveted role as a mother and grandmother.

A small service with close family will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 9:30am-11:00am at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ followed by a brief ceremony at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beachview Ave., Manahawkin, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cancer Institute or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
