Gail A Stevens

Born in Newark, NJ, to her late parents, William and Hattie Stimpson, she and her siblings were raised in Union,NJ . She moved to Manahawkin in 1978.

She is survived by her loving siblings; Paul Stimpson (Maureen), Linda Jaques (Ivan), Thomas Stimpson, Bruce Stimpson, and Susan Stimpson (Tom Milner) as well as her several cherished nieces and nephews.

Gail was a graduate of Kean College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree, she was also a graduate of Stockton State College where she received her degree in Nursing.

She was a Home Health Nurse where she worked as a private duty nurse for many years.

Gail enjoyed gardening, reading, and baking, she was an avid animal lover. Gail’s greatest passion was for people; she loved to take care of them and help them in any way she could.

She was a former member of the Friendly Sons of Shillelagh (FSOS) and a former volunteer of the Stafford First Aid Squad.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 11, 2024 at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail’s name may be sent to Friends of Ocean County Animal Shelter.
